Our Competitive team continually wins state, regional and national awards. We are also proud to have helped numerous gymnasts sign collegiate scholarships. Gymnastics East currently has competitive teams at the Compulsory, Optional and Xcel levels.

Compulsory Gymnastics

Compulsory Gymnastics is level 2 to 5 and has a specific routine that the gymnasts must compete. USA gymnastics created routines with the goal that the gymnasts have a strong foundation of skills before the child advances to the optional level.

Optional Gymnastics

Optional Gymnastics is level 6 to 10. Gymnasts compete customized routines to individually selected music. The skills/acro/dance requirements depend on the level.

Xcel Gymnastics is designed to offer a broad-based, affordable competitive experience outside the traditional Developmental Program to attract and retain a diverse group of athletes.
