About Us

Gymnastics East has been training gymnasts and offering fun fitness classes since 1979. It is owned and operated by Kim Thomson. Kim was a member of our early team then returned to coach. She bought the gym in Y2000. She continues to have joy for the sport and believes that participation in gymnastics from an early age sets the base to succeed in any sport.

Our competitive team continues to be one of the top ranked teams in our State and Region with a focus on achieving college scholarships for our graduating seniors.

Competitive Gymnastics

Our Competitive team continually wins state, regional and national awards. We are also proud to have helped numerous gymnasts sign collegiate scholarships. Gymnastics East currently has competitive teams at the Compulsory, Optional and Xcel levels.
